Accessibility Statement

Our commitment

We want every owner, buyer, lender and colleague to be able to use this website, including people who use screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, magnification, voice control, or reduced-motion settings. Accessibility is treated as part of building the site, not as a retrofit.

The standard we build to

We design and test against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. That target governs our work; a formal third-party conformance audit has not yet been completed, and this page will be updated with the result and date when it has.

What we have done

• Text and background colours are chosen for contrast, and body copy is set at a readable size rather than caption size.
• Every interactive control is reachable and operable by keyboard, and focus remains visible.
• Images carry descriptive alternative text; decorative images are hidden from assistive technology.
• Form fields have real labels, errors are announced in text rather than by colour alone, and status messages use live regions.
• Animation and the scrolling market ticker respect the operating system’s reduced-motion setting.
• Form controls are set to 16px on phones so that focusing a field does not force the page to zoom.
• Page structure uses real headings and landmarks so a screen reader can navigate by section.

Known limitations

We would rather name these than imply the site is perfect:

• Embedded third-party content. Video, scheduling and mapping services are rendered by their providers, and we do not control their accessibility.
• Concept renderings and site plans. Complex visual material carries a text description, but a rendering cannot be fully conveyed in alternative text. Ask us and we will describe any image in detail.
• Documents. PDFs and spreadsheets sent as attachments may not all be fully tagged for assistive technology. We will provide an accessible alternative on request.
• Japanese-language pages. These are reviewed to the same standard, but language-specific screen-reader behaviour has not yet been separately tested.

If something is not working for you

Tell us and we will fix it, and we will give you the information another way in the meantime. Please include the page, what you were trying to do, and the assistive technology and browser you were using.

We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports within two business days and to tell you what we are doing about the barrier, even where a fix takes longer.

Alternative formats

Anything published on this site can be provided by email in plain text, as a large-print document, or read to you over the phone. There is no charge and no need to explain why you are asking.
